A Monthly tarot Practice in Community

What it is: I’ve been wanting to meet other tarot curious people in Basel so I decided to organize a meetup to see if other tarot people want to meet too.

This is a test run through the end of the year to see if there is interest. for such a gathering. So if you would like for something like this to continue in Basel, don’t wait and put off joining in, join now.

Each Meetup is loosely made up of 3 parts:

1. Brief introduction: of each other and of a tarot spread.

2. Individual Exploration: Participants will then be able to pull cards for themselves. (You have the option to use either the spread that was introduced or use another one of your preference.)

3. Group Sharing & Discussion: This is my favorite part. It’s when those who wish can share the topic and the cards they pulled. It’s a great time to learn from others and how they pull cards and interpret them. I feel this is the best way to learn tarot, to be honest.

Basel Tarot Meetup — From our 1st tarot meetup

The best way to learn tarot is to use it regularly.

Details:

Registration & fees: Rsvp is required & there is a nominal registration fee of 10.- Chf (for admin, room, and material use).

If you are unable to pay the fee, message me for a reduced price set up. (As a general guideline: if you have bought a book or gone out for coffee more than twice in the last month or been on an airplane in the last year, you are not eligible for the reduced price.)

Accessibility: All genders welcome. There is one step to get into the studio. Bathroom is downstairs and accessible only by stairs. If you feel ill, please cancel as I would rather not catch what you have. Thank you. Various seating options are available (chairs, cushions, blankets, floor mats).

To Bring: A notebook or journal to track your readings throughout the year & a deck of card, if you have one (I will also bring some of my 30+ card decks for you to use.)

When: Sat, Aug 3, 5:30-7:00 pm

Where: The Looking Glass Studio, Feldbergstr 1, Basel

Who: For anyone who wants to practice tarot and oracle readings—whether you look at tarot through a mystical, psychological, practical, intellectual, or intuitive lens. Whether beginner or advanced.
After: Those who wish can arrange with each other to have dinner at Choi after.

Please note:

This is not a formal tarot class or workshop but you will learn. This is a hub for the tarot curious of Basel to meet each other and practice reading tarot.
If you are a professional tarot reader, please understand this is not a place to fish for new clients but rather to practice & learn in a group setting.
No food or drinks will be allowed at the tarot table.
You are welcome to bring your own decks. You will have access to some of my personal tarot and oracle card collection of 30+ decks and tarot books and reading guides.
